The deadline to appeal your assessment is on April 11, 2011 at 5 pm.Planning and Zoning Commission has a vacancy and the Mayor and City Council are soliciting for letters of interest for this position. The seat expires on November 2011. Please email a letter of interest to: [email protected] or drop off your letter to the front office at city hall. Public Works Director Tom Cohenour has accepted a position as Director of Public Works in Palmer, Alaska. Charlie Branch, Harbor Administrative Assistant, will be retiring this summer after 22 years with the City.Its about time for the busy season to arrive so the Cordova Police Department is reminding residents of the two hour parking limit for First Street.After a seasonal break in work the construction crew for the Cordova Center is back on site. Concrete is being poured in the various supports for the lower level. Pull tests on the embedded rock anchors are being conducted this week and next. All have passed so far!
