Deep Meadow Park offers something for every lover of the outdoors. Home of the Horsham Little League Association, the park features 11 baseball fields, a batting cage and a concession stand. Other features include playground equipment, a one-mile walking and jogging trail and many picnic tables and grills.
Kohler Park is home to the Horsham Soccer Association, as well as a 1.5 community dog park. Besides offering a fun, fenced-in meeting place for people and their four-legged friends, Kohler Park features horseshoe pits, an asphalt walking trail, a fishing pond, an in-line street hockey court and six lighted soccer fields.
Wynnewood Valley Park serves the Wynnewood community with family-friendly outdoor activities and play areas. The park begins at the top of the street with two tennis courts and then gradually widens at the bottom of the slight incline to an open space with two playground set-ups, one for older kids and one for younger children. The picnic and BBQ area is set back away from the play area to offer peace and quiet amongst the lush green scenery. A light hiking and walking trail loops around the upper portion of the park, immersing walkers in forest-like settings.
Vernon V. Young Memorial Park sits directly next to the Ardmore community center. Free for the community to use, the park attracts baseball fans to its two full size baseball diamonds. Basketball, tennis and volleyball courts are also available with pick-up games being very popular. The playground equipment has protective surfaces under slides, jungle gyms and swings. Next door at the community center, there is an outdoor swimming pool complete with water slides for the community to use during summer months for a small fee. Guest and single day passes are available for residents of Ardmore at a discounted price.
