St. Francis Episcopal Church is a small, wooden building set on Peckham Lane overlooking Old Flat River Road from a small hill.
The church was founded in 1917 as Christ Church, but has since merged with the congregation of St. Matthias, taking its latest name.
The church offers several activities, including parish suppers, serving meals to the homeless at Epiphany in Providence, Sunday School, the Blessing of the Animals and Tie Dye Sunday. There is a coffee hour and adult education between services on Sunday, and Christian education for children pre-K though grade 12 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Members may choose to be active as worship leaders, ushers, acolytes, in the Altar Guild or Sewer's Guild. The church is led by The Reverend Sean Manchester.
This church is nestled on the tree-shrouded corner of Washington Road and Bradford Street in West Barrington. The church congregation strives to "nurture each person's faith journey through joyful worship, supportive fellowship, and active outreach ministries." These outreach ministries include Mobile Loaves and Fishes, which provides food and clothing to the homeless from a pickup truck that parks in the church lot. Youth, young adult and women's spirituality groups provide other outreach opportunities. The Rev. Byungmoo Lee also serves the Methodist church in nearby Warren, and keeps Barrington office hours on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
The Presbyterian (USA) church is identified in Barrington most widely, perhaps, for its Japanese-modern style. Its sanctuary, function room and offices surround a garden courtyard on three sides. The entire structure harmonizes with the land around it. But the Rev. Patrick Notley and the small, family-oriented congregation describe themselves in a statement of purpose as a "gathering of God's people who are learning how to love one another and share our faith with others" and "to love and serve God joyfully and to love others as Christ has loved us." The Evangelical Friends Church (EFC) of Newport seeks to worship and serve its community by following the three S's: Sundays, Small Groups and Service. In this manner, core services and programs are offered through Sunday Worship, prayer groups and community outreach.
Small Groups: Home meetings, Bible Study groups and other church activities provide opportunities for church members to worship together and connect. Other activities include youth groups and pre-school activities.
Service: The EFC actively promotes volunteerism to help serve the Newport County community.

Saints John and Paul Catholic Church rests at the corner of Tiogue Avenue and South Main Street in Coventry, in front of a bustling intersection. The Roman Catholic parish, which serves worshipers in West Warwick, Coventry and Exeter-West Greenwich, is one of the largest parishes in the Diocese of Providence. There are six clergy members: Rev. Paul R. Grenon, Rev. Joseph P. Henry, Pastor Emeritus, Deacon Robert J.C. Persson, Pastor Deacon Robert J.C. Persson, Rev. John J. Duggan, Rev. Eddy E. Lopez-Bolanos, assistant pastor and Rev. Derek J. Puleo, assistant pastor. The church's office, located behind the main church building, houses a chapel where some services are held. The church also includes the Father John V. Doyle School, which is located next to the parish office.
After more than 13 years at Winman Junior High School in Warwick, Calvary Chapel found a place to call home in North Kingstown in November 2008. The non-denominational church aims to provide parishioners with a welcoming and relaxing environment. During its Sunday services, the church houses a full band to perform. Additionally, the church hosts food drives and a mechanics fellowship. Calvary Chapel Greenmeadow is led by Pastor Rich Chapman.
The Church of the Apostles is an evangelical Anglican church located on Fairview Avenue in Coventry and is a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. The CCC is theologically conservative and believes in the autonomy of local churches. The denomination allows for differences among its member churches in some details of worship, though it is committed to basic Christian doctrine.
The church holds men's and women's bible studies, Sunday morning Christian education classes followed by brunch and Sunday evening worship and bible study. They also have a youth group and children's ministry.

The Rev. Richard Shippee, Priest-in-Charge at
Saints Matthew and Mark Episcopal Church since 2011 describes his parish as a generous community that provides a strong worship experience and serves to relieve distress wherever it occurs through numerous outreach programs and financial support. The parish was opened in 1891 in West Barrington by the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island as the "Chapel of Ease" for linen makers and their families who worked in the former mills. Through flood and fire and financial hardships, Saint Matthew's has continued on as a thriving place to worship. The congregation's Queen Anne Gothic Revival-style building is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Quidnick Baptist Church, located within the Coventry village of Quidnick, is located on Fairview Avenue, where passing motorists have long been treated to inspirational and sometimes quirky religious missives on the church signboard facing the street.
The church has an active membership, including a men's religious study group, a women's religious study group and, as reported in the Good News Today, a ministry providing support for men released from prison. The church runs several youth programs, including a Bible study, Habitat for Humanity, basketball and Sunday school.
The church is led by Pastor Joe Campbell, who has been with the parish for 15 years.
Barrington Baptist believes that Christians are responsible for sharing God's love with the world so that everyone has an opportunity to make Christ a part of his/her life. The congregation considers itself warm and inviting. The church's vision, according to Senior Pastor Paul Martins, is to glorify God by becoming a loving family that encourages each other in Christ-like character. This vision is revealed through diverse ministries and settings, including those for children, youth, women, men, seniors, nursing home residents and the home-bound. Camp Cedarwood offers summer programs to children entering grades one through eight, including arts and crafts, sports, games, Bible study and field trips. A child-care center is open to children from six weeks to nine years. Reverend Martins is assisted by Associate Pastor Kim Nelson.
