Mount Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church was founded by a group of community leaders, and its stated mission is to bring about “effective change” in the community by going “further in and deeper down.”
Future plans for Mt. Zion include a private Christian school, job training, housing for seniors, internal missions, a halfway house for inmates released from correctional facilities, drug prevention/rehabilitation and parenting programs, to name a few.
Revealing Truth Ministries is a Christian-based bible teaching ministry located on Armenia Avenue in the Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa. The center is continually expanding, with campuses throughout southern and central Florida. Revealing Truth Ministries also runs services in Spanish here at the flagship location and offers a variety of programs and activities for parishioners including a youth group known as Core Student Ministries.
