Known until 2002 as Grace Baptist Church, Grace Church of Napa Valley traces its history to the mid-1950s, when a group of families began holding bible meetings in their Napa Valley homes. In its early years, the growing congregation met at several borrowed locations before purchasing a north Napa Valley orchard and building a church of its own, which opened in 1971. In 2001, Grace Academy opened its doors behind the church sanctuary. The Christian school serves kindergartners through eighth-graders.

Pathway Church is a very large Christian church on East Cypress Avenue in Redlands. It offers two worship services each Sunday, as well as regular office hours Monday through Friday. There are also Bible studies available each week for both men and women, in addition to various other meetings for the congregation and community. St. Stephen Orthodox Church held its first service on All Saints Sunday in June 1993 when two churches -- the Santa Clara Orthodox Mission and Vineyard Christian Fellowship -- merged into one parish. The Redlands United Church of Christ is a beautiful, large church located on a great piece of property along Bellevue Avenue, surrounded by well-kept landscaping. It offers a contemplative worship each Sunday at 8am, as well as a regular worship service at 10:30am. There are also various classes, studies, youth programs, events and meetings held throughout the week. The United Church of Christ welcomes all members, as well as guests, to meetings and events held at the church. It also offers community outreach programs to stay in touch with and help surrounding neighborhoods.
The oldest Catholic church in Novato and the city's largest church in terms of membership was established in 1892 under the auspices of the Rev. Charles E. O'Neale. The first parish building was located on modern-day South Novato Boulevard and destroyed by fire in 1935. A new parish was opened in 1937 at 1200 Grant Ave., where today sits the Muscio's Italian Restaurant. The current parish, opened in 1963, is at the corner of Grant Avenue and Novato Boulevard.

Built in 1926 in the Mission Style, this church is one of the oldest public structures in town. It features a soaring facade, pillared outdoor passageways and many hand-wrought architectural details. While holding a variety of beliefs, the Presbyterian congregation takes the Bible seriously but not literally.
