This popular state park is named for the massive two-mile rock formation that resembles a "sleeping giant." Visitors will find 30 miles of trails which are popular with hikers and the park's picnic tables are perfect gathering spot for families and friends. It also has attractions such as the stone observation tower, or as it is locally known, the "castle." It was built in 1934 as one of the depression-era Works Progress Administration's projects.
