According to a city of Shorline plaque describing the origin of the park's name,"Pronounced Ki-Yoo Ki-Yoo atch, the name is a common Northwest Native American Lushootseed language term that was used to describe the Richmond Beach area."Two railroad tracks are all that separate this breathtaking park from the Puget Sound, but the view is priceless.Nestled in a quiet area just off Richmond Beach Drive, the park features plenty of grass to relax in, a spacious playground for the young ones, restrooms and a viewing platform from which to watch passing ships.
