Select Optical is one of the largest full service optical laboratories in Ohio. The company s laboratory and staff of 90 employees provide customers with quality lenses and eyeglasses in materials such as CR-39, polycarbonate, high index and glass. Select Optical s 23,000 square foot facility is located in the north end of Columbus, Ohio, and fills more than 6,000 prescriptions each week. Along with serving ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians and grinding laboratories, the company possesses a large contract business supplying eyeglasses for state eyeglass programs and most leading health insurance carriers. The Industrial Division provides safety and environmental glasses to industries throughout the continental United States. Select Optical was founded in 1961.
