The congregation at Avon United Methodist Church focuses on ministry and service for all ages. The community participates in Angel Food Ministries, which provides those in need with meals. Children's Sunday school and a supervised nursery are also available. Rev. Elizabeth A. Krall is the church's pastor.
Northampton United Methodist Church sits at the intersection of West Bath and Northampton roads. The Church offers relaxed family-friendly worship opportunities, vibrant children and youth programs, adult small group studies, national and international mission trips, Royal Family Kids Camp, The Root Café. Emphasis is also placed on community outreach through its main campus in Cuyahoga Falls and its sister campus Heart 4 the City in Akron. There are many ways to plug into NUMC’s community.
The Brecksville United Methodist Church formed in 1823 shortly after the city was founded, which reflects its location in the center of town. The church focuses strongly on service and outreach and has a lot of interaction with the Brecksville community. The church also rents space to Horizons Preschool.
United Christian Ministries, founded in 1937, is open to all Kent State University students.
UCM members meet regularly in the United Methodist Church on the Northeast side of Kent, about .5 miles from KSU campus. UCM updates its activities list and photos frequently both on its website and its Facebook page.
The group conducts numerous community service activities, such as annual toy and food drives, in addition to its work, study, and social events.
