The Swordfish Beach Club is a private, members-only club overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean Beach. The club stands out with its bright teal colors, especially the beach chairs and umbrellas. Beach amenities are provided, as well as lodging and tennis courts. The club's season runs from Fathers' Day weekend through the Sunday after Labor Day.
The Ridgeway Country Club, and 18-hole golf course, dates back to 1923. The club also includes 10 tennis course, an Olympic sized pool and a dining and fitness room.
This tennis club has an indoor (public) season (September-May) and an outdoor private season (Memorial Day-Labor Day). It also features a snack bar, gym/weight room, renovated locker rooms and a beautiful riverfront setting. The rooftop restaurant, The Clubhouse Grille, offers a great menu and outdoor dining in the summer. It is open Monday - Saturday from 5:30pm - 10:30pm. It hosts birthday and anniversary parties as well as other types of social events and gatherings.
The Orient Yacht Club is a private yacht located at the end of the wharf off Village Lane. Orient is one of the most scenic locations on the North Fork, and it's location is perfect for sailing or boating and fishing in Peconic Bay and Plum Gut. Plum Gut, known locally as "the Gut," yields large striped bass and bluefish in the rip current between Orient Point and Plum Island. The Orient Yacht Club has five private docks with more than 60 slips. The current commodore is Peter McGreevy.
Civil Air Patrol is a squadron that prepares cadets to become America's leaders, through teachings of core values and volunteerism. The squadron provides cadet services, emergency services and aerospace education. The CAP's motto, "Semper Vigilans," or "Always Vigilant," describes the mindset of this "Composite" squadron, made up of cadets (ages 12-21) and adults (18 and older).

A private club, Southampton Bath & Tennis is located on Gin Lane, on the ocean. It features several tennis courts, an outdoor pool and a club house. Tennis whites are mandatory on the courts. The club does not advertise nor accept applications. Potential new members must be referred by existing club members.
