The Finger Lakes School of Massage was founded in 1994 by Cindy Black and Andrea Butje and is currently owned by David Merwin. There are two FLSM campuses, including the Mt. Kisco School, which opened in October of 2008.
The school's Ithaca campus has graduated over 2,000 students to date. Students enrolled to study massage and hydrotherapy can complete the 1000-hour certification program, part-time or full-time.
