Chuck Hales, president of Hales Machine Tool, Inc, has been involved in the machine tool business since 1968. A founder of another Minnesota-based machine tool distributorship, Chuck and his son, Dan, opened Hales Machine Tool, Inc in 1983. In 1990, the company moved to a 13, 100 sq. ft. facility and now employees 21 highly trained sales, service and support personel including Chucks other sons, Tim and Randy, and daughter Julie. Hales Machine Tool, Inc is the number one distributor in the country for major machine tool manufacturers. We have six field technicians, two in house technicians and two application engineers on staff to answer programming or technical questions. Hales Machine Tool is a distributor of new and used CNC machine tools. We are located in Plymouth Minnesota which is 15 minutes west of Minneapolis. We cover all of Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota Nebraska and Western Wisconsin. Our new product lines include DOOSAN INFRACORE which is the 3rd largest machine tool builder in the world and Fanucs #1 customer. They are the maker of the PUMA series lathes along with VTLs, bridge mills, vertical and horizontal machining centers. We also represent Minnesota s own MILLTRONICS CNC MACHINE TOOLS made just west of us in Waconia, MN. They also manufacture vertical & horizontal machining centers along w/ a line up lathes and boring mills. We are also the area reps for BROTHER the worlds fastest and most reliable machine tool built on the planet. They are imported by Yamazen who also is the importer for Mitsubishi, Daito saws and Takisawa. Other major players in our line up are HANWHA ( 3rd largest CNC Swiss in the world ), AMADA WASINO who specializes in automation of CNC turning centers. We recently have signed a contract to represent the entire UNITED GRINDING TECHNOLOGIES who is the world leader in every avenue of grinding. They manufacture STUDER, SCHAUDT, MIKROSA, BLOHM, JUNG, MAGERLE, EWAG and WALTER TOOL AND CUTTER GRINDERS
