St. John's Lutheran Church has been ministering to the people of Arnold for more than 150 years. Chapel of The Cross is a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. It offers Sunday services at 8am and 10:45am. Sunday school and Bible study are offered at 9:25 and are available for all ages. Monday worship service is at 7pm. There is also a Wednesday evening Bible study at 6:15pm. Chapel of the Cross offers music ministry in the areas of choir, hand bells and instrumental music. Children and youth ministries are also a part of this church. Glendale Lutheran Church is a place of worship and religious education. Mass is held on Saturdays at 5pm and on Sundays at 8:15 and 10:45 in the morning. Nursery services are offered for small children during Sunday mass times. Hope Lutheran Church is located at the corner of South Old Highway 94 and Pralle Ln., overlooking First Capitol Dr. Founded in 1988, this church is led by Pastor Langdon Lundin and is a denomination of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The building also houses a preschool which has its own separate entrance and is complete with outdoor jungle gyms. Services are held on Sundays with a traditional one at 8am, a contemporary and "fun" service at 1045am and an interactive session at 6pm.
