StressCrete was founded in 1953 as a manufacturer of concrete utility poles. By 1970 the company manufactured sports lighting poles and ten years later was involved with decorative and ornamental lighting poles. StressCrete acquired King Luminaire in 1985, which in increased product development in the street and area lighting market. The company s products include street and area lighting, an extensive line of bollards, ornamental and historic lighting standards, power distribution and transmission poles, sports lighting poles and poles suited for closed circuit television and traction power systems. StressCrete has manufacturing facilities in Burlington, Ontario and Northport, Ala., and a network of independent sales representatives nationwide.
