Albany Law School, founded in 1851, is an independent law school and is located in Albany, N.Y. It has an enrollment of more than 700 students and offers Juris Doctor and Master of Law and Letters degrees. It also offers more than 15 concentrations and joint degrees through accredited colleges and universities. Additionally, it provides a wide range of field placements, including internships through the Albany Law Clinic & Justice Center, Government Law Center and Science and Technology Law Center. The school s more than 5,000-square-foot store offers books, computer products, apparel, gifts, supplies and gift cards. Its science and technology law center offers programs in research, writing and educational outreach on legal and policy issues. The school s library covers a space of more than 53,000 square feet and provides computer rooms, group study rooms, a videotape viewing zone and seating for more than 480 users.
