The Potter Career & Technical Center offers more than 25 programs for students. Its programs offer opportunities for students to participate in internships, prepare portfolios and earn technical endorsements. The center is staffed with teachers and education providers. The Potter Career & Technical Center provides programs in biotechnical engineering, cosmetology, culinary skills, graphic design technology, fashion design and merchandising, spa specialty, and television and sound production. It is a part of the Erie 1 BOCES, also known as the Board of Cooperative Educational Services, which is a regional public education service organization established in 1948. Erie 1 BOCES serves approximately 70,000 students in over 18 component school districts in the city of Buffalo, N.Y.
