Anne Arundel Community College is a 230-acre campus that includes eight academic buildings, gym, swimming pool, student services center, student union, astronomy building, a 440-seat performing arts center, library, two art galleries and a 3,000-seat athletic complex. Offering associate degrees and professional certificates in the areas of arts and sciences, business, computing, technical studies, health professions, wellness, physical therapy and more, Anne Arundel Community College additionally provides a series of student resources, athletic and cultural activities.
With 15,000 students, Rockville is home to the largest of Montgomery College's three community college campuses. The other campuses are located in Germantown and Takoma Park/Silver Spring.
The diverse student body attends more than 600 courses across more than 40 disciplines.
Part- and full-time students of all ages come by car, bus and Metrorail. The campus hosts cultural and community events, lectures and sports in facilities that include the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center.
A state-of-the-art science center provides classroom and lab space for in-demand programs in math, science and engineering.
The Community College of Baltimore County at Dundalk offers an honors program and possesses a three-decade old community theater program. The school provides a host of clubs and organizations, including the Multicultural Student Association and Student Government Association. CCBC Dundalk currently has teams in men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball and softball. The school colors are red and white, and the school mascot is a lion.
AACC at the Glen Burnie Town Center offers courses in hospitality, culinary arts and tourism. The community college, which sits in Arundel Center Noth, offers degree programs in addition to specialized and noncredit instruction.
