Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness Center offers programs for your whole family, and gets your membership started with six weeks of assessment, assisted workouts and evaluations from one of its trainers. In addition to weight training, there are also swimming lessons and a babysitting service.
This non-profit swim and tennis club has been offering a summer retreat for local residents since 1966. The club is owned by members and run by an elected, volunteer board of Directors.
A 25-meter swimming pool, children's pool, picnic pavilion, six tennis courts and an 18-hole frisbee golf course sit on its 16 acres of property.
Swim and tennis teams are offered for all ages in addition to both group and private swim and tennis lessons. A ladies' tennis night is held every Tuesday throughout the summer and a men's tennis night is held on Wednesdays. In 2010, the club began offering a teen tennis night for kids aged 13-18.
Several social programs are offered for members during the summer months and members are able to reserve the pavilion for private parties.
Tennis courts are open to members throughout the year; the rest of the club is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Little Gym, located at Great Seneca Hwy and Clopper Rd, offers non-competitive classes in gymnastics, dance, karate, cheerleading and sports skils to children from 4 months to 12 years old. The instructors provide a friendly, supportive environment for the kids, while giving them the tools to develop physically and mentally.
