Iron Horse Community Gym is jointly owned by the City of San Ramon and San Ramon Valley School District. Opened in 2002, the gym accommodates the needs of Iron Horse Middle School during school hours. This facility is on school campus, adjacent to Central Park. The city asks that you check the most current Activities Guide for the list of Open Gym hours and programs offered by the city. California Strength is a tremendous room equipped with gym furnishings. It has machines, weights, and mutliple personal trainers available for your workout. Owned by David Spitz, the space offers both a monthly inclusive training rate and personal training. It also has a nutritionist and sports masseur available.

Diablo Gymnastics school provides classes for youth from kindergarten through high school. It is a large facility with a fully equipped gym. The school also hosts recreational and competitive teams and offers courses to both girls and boys. In the office and along the wall of photos, it has a selection of gym clothes and leotards that can be purchased during hours of operation.
