College Place CDC is a part of the Washington State Migrant Council, which is a nonprofit corporation that works to improve the quality of life for migrants, farmworkers and rural poor individuals. The Head Start located in Spokane, Wash., has a long tradition of delivering comprehensive services designed to foster healthy development in low-income children. Head Start is a comprehensive child development program, which serves children from birth to age 5, pregnant women and their families. Child-focused, its overall goal is to increase the school readiness of young children in low-income families.
