Located down the street from the Skokie Public Library and in the heart of downtown Skokie, the Village of Skokie City Hall offers a wide variety services to Skokie citizens.
Citizens can purchase a pet license, sticker renewal or any village-related permits just inside the building. The City Hall is also the home to Mayor George Van Dusen. Numerous hearings are held on the first floor.
Kawaga Garden is a small park tucked away in a neighborhood west of Crawford and a couple of blocks north of Main. The park is very tranquil (there are no playgrounds or sports fields) and features a modest flower garden and a variety of trees. There are two benches within the park, making it a nice place to relax on warm autumn days.
