The Minnesota WorkForce Center helps job seekers find employment. It operates more than 50 centers in Minnesota. The center provides job search, staff assistance, and computer and Internet access services. It conducts workshops and training sessions in the areas of effective interviewing, networking, career exploration, and resume and cover letter writing. The Minnesota WorkForce Center also works to meet the manpower needs of industries and employers. The center provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities through its vocational rehabilitation services unit. In addition, it offers long-term job support solutions and is a part of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.
