This 18-hole golf course is located in a valley that is surrounded by woods, native wildlife and is an appropriate country-like setting for those who enjoy that as a golfing backdrop. It is a year-round, full-service facility open to the public and is a flexible course that is suitable for most levels of ability. The Heritage of Hawk Ridge is a public nine-hole, par-3 golf course located in the Heritage of Hawk Ridge community. The tee approaches are planted with Zoysia grass and the greens with Bent grass. There are three sets of tees: Red (1,065 yards), White (1,318 yards) and Blue (1,526 yards). The course is open year-round, except for the first half of January, and opens daily at 8am. A round costs $10.50 for duffers 50 and older, $14.50 for those under 50 and $7.75 for juniors (16 and under); a cart rental costs $7.50. Memberships can be had for $400 for singles and $650 for couples.
The golf club is managed by Walters Golf Management and is an 18-hole golf course that caters to golfers of all skill levels. It is a par 71, and is as long as 6,344 yards from the championship tees, and as short as 4,929 yards from the red tees. Greens fees are quite affordable for such a well-tended golf course, $32 for 18 holes on weekdays, $52.50 on weekends.
