WVFD proudly protects the people and property in a primarily rural area of over 27, 000 acres. We operate out of a station located at the corner of Hootenanny Road & Williamson Valley Road. Our District is a public department with fire chief and 6 full time firefighters. Additional staff are reserve firefighters, volunteers, and part time admin and accounting support. The District attempts to provide 24/7 Advanced Life Support with a minimum of two personnel on duty. We are a Department of professional fire fighters and volunteers. The Districts Board of Directors serves without pay. WVFD provides fire protection and a multitude of emergency and non-emergency services, including Advanced Life Support ( ALS ) services to Williamson Valley. The WVFD also provides classes on Urban Interface Training.
