Rochester Elevator, located at the corner of University Drive and Water Street, is primarily a supply store. The Rochester Elevator Barn, originally named Griggs Grain Elevator, was built in 1880. Until the 1970s, farmers brought their grain to the elevator to be shipped.

Dexter Mill has been in business since 1919, under the original name of the Dexter Agricultural Association. Since 1969, it has operated under the name of the Dexter Mill.
The business provides many of the same products and services as the original co-op, including making feed and offering farm supplies, such as fertilizer and feed. In addition, the business has a greenhouse that opens each spring to provide annuals and perennials. Wild bird and pet feed, equine feed and supplies, work clothes and boots are also available.
