The Chelsea District Library is a historical, community-oriented public library that has been serving the area since the early 1930s. Today, the library has a collection of more than 66,000 items, of which 55,000 are print items. The library's circulation is more than 300,000 items annually. The library has free computer labs and office equipment, including teacher resources. It features activities and programs for many groups, from children's story time to adult council meetings. Study and meeting rooms are available. Home delivery is an option.
