In 1934, Rural Mutual Insurance Company was founded to provide auto insurance to Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation members who often could not find affordable insurance elsewhere. It has expanded to provide auto, home, farm and business insurance to residents throughout Wisconsin. The company has more than 150 agents statewide, with headquarters in Madison and locations throughout Wisconsin.
