This nondenominational Christian church started out years ago as Victory Fellowship and combined with another group, Rivers of Life to form Southgate Church. It is housed in a former public school on East Watson Road. On one particular Sunday, teens and adult leaders were dispersing from a retreat, with everyone chatty and cheerful as parents picked up their kids in the huge parking lot out back. There is lots of play equipment on the grounds also. Participants recommended checking in with the church office and notifying the church ahead of time if you plan to attend a Sunday service.
