Gospel Assembly has been serving the Urbandale community for decades. In addition to its local charity works, the church performs its mission through the operation of its school on the same site.
Timberline Church is centrally located in Urbandale; the staff says the focus is on deepening its congregation's personal relationships with Christ. The church is involved in a number of charitable missions, one of the most notable being its mission of earthquake relief in Haiti.
Valley Evangelical Free Church is a religious institution which began in 1990. The church lives by the words, "Changing our lives, changing our world; all through Christ." Through this, it believes people can have healthier relationships, transform themselves spiritually and become involved with the church and community. The church members love talking to new visitors and discussing their views on Christ.
First Evangelical Free Church is led by Pastor Gary Allen. It offers Christian worship, prayer, discipleship and evangelism. Its four ministries include education, missions, fellowship and outreach. All members are invited to participate. U.S. and foreign mission work is encouraged, as are activities that promote fellowship.
