Founded in 1866, Christ Episcopal Church has been serving area residents. A member of the Episcopal Church USA and of the worldwide Angelican Communion, it has been at its current location since 1949. The services are traditional, yet relaxed. This brick church sits on the southeast corner of Main Street and Romeo Road, just north of downtown Rochester. The church was founded well over a century ago, was organized in 1927 and achieved parish status in 1955. The friendly staff at St. Philip's includes Reverend Geoffrey T. Boyer, rector of St. Philip's since 2003. The church offers Sunday school, music programs, bible study groups and child care during Sunday service and is also involved in the Crop Hunger Walk and other charitable missions. Passersby are encouraged to visit the church, which welcomes men, women and children from all walks of life.
St. Thomas Episcopal Church was founded in 1843 and it is the oldest denomination in Trenton. The church has a youth group, women's craft group, adult Bible study group and much more. In addition, there is a St. Thomas Thrift Shop within the premises, where donated goods such as clean clothing, household items and books are sold. All the proceeds are given to charitable causes.
