Vineland Elementary School is part of the Baldwin Park Unified School District. It offers grades K through 6th and has earned the title of being a California Distinguished School. There are multiple playgrounds for its students, including large plastic playsets, basketball hoops and more. The cafeteria is located outside and the entire campus is fenced for additional safety. The school has just under 850 students, with around 20 students per teacher. Programs such as art, music and physical education are offered along with standard subjects such as reading and math.
Tracy School services 810 children in grades K-6, offering instructional programs in English, Structured English Immersion, and Dual Language Two-Way. The school houses a state of the art computer lab and SMART tablets used in the classrooms. The playgrounds have been recently updated with new equipment.
Elwin Elementary school is a K-6 elementary school servicing approximately 575 students. Almost 90% of the students are on free or reduced lunch and just over 40% are classified as English Learners. Elwin Elementary has focused a lot of resources on technology. Classrooms are all equipped with a minimum of four computers, document cameras, laser printers, and SMART Boards.
The Walnut School offers instruction and extracurricular activities to students in kindergarten through sixth grades. Student Council activities, awards assemblies and academic assemblies help promote student achievement and help foster character development. Teachers, instructional aides, parents and peers help at-risk students in reading remediation throughout the school day, as well as before and after school hour. Technology clubs, math clubs, science clubs, computer clubs, chorus, ballet and sporting events are also available to each student.
