Open since 1929, Night & Day Cafe has a retro vibe that's particularly well suited to late-night eats. And that's a good thing, because the cafe is open nonstop from Wednesday at 10pm through Monday morning at the stroke of midnight. An on-premises espresso bar delivers lattes, café au lait and coffee drinks to order. Old-school counter seating is available, with a few little tables scattered around the place. Breakfast is served all day; smoothies, sandwiches, burritos and beer are on the menu as well. A jukebox and television provide entertainment.
Zinc Cafe & Market is a bit of an anomaly: think American diner gone upscale, totally healthful with high-end cuisine and a grocery store attached. Zinc is also a coffee shop. All of Zinc's market items are made fresh. The market includes salads, sandwiches, breads, cheeses and the like. Zinc does not serve dinner and instead focuses on an extensive lunch menu. Retail items for the home and kitchen are also sold here.
