Brush's of Basking Ridge has been serving residents since 1935. Tim Brush, the current owner, is in the third generation of owners. It is home to the "Monster Breakfast Sandwich," which includes eight slices of Taylor ham, four slices of cheese and two eggs.
Veneto Trattoria and Veneto Gourmet Pizza & Deli sit side by side in the Highland Village Center. The restaurant is the more formal of the two, offering fine Italian cuisine, table service and a serene dining ambiance. The pizzeria offers casual dining with brick oven pizzas to deli sandwiches. Cafe Lotus, formerly know as the Lotus Deli, has recently relocated to 77 S. Maple Avenue. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is now primarily a deli and ice cream shoppe. Daily specials include some Chinese entrees reminiscent of its previous location. The owner, Lillian Choy, has been serving Basking Ridge residents for over 20 years and knows many of her loyal customers by name.
Located in the Dewy Meadow Village, O'Bagel is one of the favorite local spots for breakfast and lunch in the area. Based on the success of the original store in Long Hill, Sam, the owner, opened this store and a third location in Riverwalk.
