This Presbyterian church has weekly services and offers children's religious education classes, music programs and various fellowship groups. The seeds of what would become the First Presbyterian Church of Ridgewood were planted in 1823 when 27 people left the local Dutch Reformed Church and formed a new church. They petitioned the Presbyterian Church in 1899 to become the First Presbyterian Church of Ridgewood. The church now has a congregation of more than 500 parishioners.
Bethlehem Early Learning Center is a Lutheran-affiliated preschool and kindergarten for children ages 2 1/2 to 6 years old. The school offers morning, afternoon, full-day classes and enrichment classes.
Ridgewood Nursery School and Kindergarten has been serving the community since 1935. The school has been at its present location for seven years. It features large classrooms replete with educational games and toys.
The Infant Toddler Development Center is located within the same school building as Ridgewood Nursery School and Kindergarten. The center has an excellent facility, with spacious classrooms and high-quality playgrounds.
