Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, located in Greenville, Ala., is one of more than 530 full-service Cracker Barrel restaurants and gift shops in the United States. The restaurant serves a variety of country-style breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items, including country ham, chicken, fish, roast beef, beans, turnip greens, vegetable plates, salads, sandwiches, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and grits. Its store is constructed in a rustic, country store design and features a retail area that offers a wide variety of decorative and functional items, including hand-blown glassware, cast iron cookware, toys, apparel and wood crafts, old fashioned candies, jellies and other foods. The Cracker Barrel restaurant group was ranked as the top family dining chain for the 14th consecutive year in the 2004 Restaurants & Institutions magazine Choice in Chains annual customer survey. The first Cracker Barrel restaurant was opened in 1969 in Lebanon, Tenn., where the company maintains its corporate headquarters today.
