Information Technology Department of the County of Bingham in Idaho, located in Blackfoot, Idaho, provides consulting, programming, training and problem-solving services to other county departments and their employees. It is responsible for evaluating the IT needs of various departments, designing integrated solutions, acquiring the needed computer equipment, software and supplies to meet current and future needs, facilitate implementation, train county employees and monitor progress. It installs a geographic information system for assessors, public works, planning and zoning departments and the sheriffs office. It has contracted with Computer Arts, a service provider specializing in government software development and computer services, to provide the many different types of software programs needed for the different departments. Bingham County started automating their office functions in 1981.

Founded in 1971, Southeastern District Health Department offers family and community and environmental health services and health promotion programs. The Bingham County Road & Bridge Department formulates and enforces various road and bridge laws and ordinances, including road signs and speed limits. It has contracted with J-U-B Engineering to develop a Master Transportation Plan (MTP), which was designed for the conversion of existing digital county maps into a geographic information system (GIS) format. Located in Blackfoot, Idaho, the road and bridge department coordinates with the Bingham County Solid Waste Department for various household wastes to be hauled to a private landfill that meets all federal and state standards. The Bingham County Road & Bridge Department supports the Idaho Traffic Alerts service that provides information from the Idaho Transportation Department s traveler information system, including official road closures, commercial vehicle restrictions, crashes, roadwork, sporting and special events, and weather and winter road conditions.

The Payette County Sheriffs Office is a full-service, community-oriented law enforcement agency that protects, preserves and safeguards the civil rights of citizens. It provides a range of community services, such as children fingerprinting, house checks, crime prevention and concealed weapon permits.
