Located in suite 310 of the government services building, the Chester County Department of Children, Youth and Family aims to strengthen a families ability to provide safety and well-being to a child through social services. The department sees the family unit as the best means to provide for the needs of a child, but they intervene when those needs cannot be met by the family, neighbors or community. Keith Hayes is the director of the Department of Children, Youth and Family.
This organization aims to allow people to grow old independently. It helps low-income citizens, adults, people with disabilities and families throughout Montgomery township by providing access to care-givers, protective services and adult daily living centers. Comprehensive geriatric assessments determine whether people require housing in a long-term care facility or if they are capable of living on their own.
