Canadian Valley Technology Center, established in 1969, is located in Chickasha, Okla., and provides high-tech educational opportunities to adults, high school students, small businesses and large corporations. The center serves Canadian and Grady counties and the Greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The school district currently has two large campuses in El Reno and Chickasha, and smaller training facilities in Bethany, Mustang, and Tuttle, Okla. The school district offers career programs, adult and continuing education and specialized corporate training. Its school curriculum includes construction technology, computer and business technology, transportation technology, health and human services, technical and engineering, information technology, and occupational and commercial services. It additionally provides technical writing, job assistance and special needs services to students. The center offers counseling and financial services to students with special needs. Its facilities include seminar centers, meeting rooms, fully equipped classrooms and laboratories, Internet access, and teleconferencing and distance education capabilities.
