The Willistown Friends Quaker Meeting has a Quaker-based religious service at its meetinghouse on Goshen Road and Warren Avenue. The meetinghouse was established in 1769 and has been serving Quaker residents in religious beliefs of experiencing God. Children from nursery school through middle school attend First Day School, a Quaker educational program enriching the youth with Quaker beliefs. Several other activities offered include yoga, women's potluck lunches and men's brown bag lunches.

One of the eight parks located in Newtown Square, Drexel Lodge Park offers many amenities for residents and non-residents alike. The park can be used for reunions, birthday parties, scouting events, graduations and weddings.

Amenities offered include an open air amphitheater and a gazebo, a large field close to two ponds, restrooms and a playground for children. A fee is required for rentals and events held at this park.

Rev. Hentzi Elek leads the St. Alban's Episcopal Church congregation through Sunday service. The church sits on Chapel Road right off of Saint Alban's Circle and Newtown Street Road.

Saint Alban's Episcopal Church has its own thrift shop available to members and to the public as well as a garden in the rear of the church.

Several programs the church offers to the community include bible study groups, adult education classes, a quilters club and choir programs for both young and old.

The Sisters of St. Joseph have been residing within St. Anastasia's convent since 1994 and are located on the corner of West Chester Pike and Radnor Drive.

Some of the sisters partake in various community programs within the parish. These programs include assisting the parish's school community through administration and counseling as well as organizing outreach opportunities to the elderly and sick.

The Garrett-Williamson Foundation provides educational and recreational programs for children. The foundation owns and operates Garrett’s Way Child Care & Learning Center, serving infants 8 weeks of age through kindergarten. It runs Camp Garrett summer day camp, available to youths ages 5 through 15. Registration and curriculum information are available on its website. 

The foundation rests on a 240-acre colonial farm in Newtown Square. Its facilities are available for special events and picnics. The land and foundation are named after philanthropist Elizabeth Garrett, who in 1910 bequeathed the land to local children and women in need.

Animal Coalition of Delaware is an organization that offers dogs, cats and other pets up for adoption. It is a nonprofit that is also a foster home and rescue group for orphaned or rescued animals. In addition to cats and dogs, the coalition also rescues and places for adoption rabbits and guinea pigs. All animals are provided veterinary services before being set up for adoption, including examinations, spaying/neutering and vaccinations. Interested parties are encouraged to visit the Animal Coalition of Delaware's website to download an application for pet adoption and to search for available pets. Applications are also available at the PetSmart Adoption Center in Marple Crossings Shopping Center.

This historical Paper Mill House, built in 1828, is also the headquarters for the Newtown Square Historical Preservation Society, a non-profit, all-volunteer group dedicated to the preservation of Newtown Square's historical buildings, artifacts and memorabilia. The preservation society meets eight times a year.

The Newtown Square Friends Quaker Meeting is one of the oldest historic buildings in the township. The Newtown Square Friends Quaker Meeting was the first Quaker meeting in Newtown Square and was established in 1711. It was renovated again in 1791.
