The historic Pickering Barn is a city of Issaquah facility located across the street from Costco.

The site is home to a community garden and the site of the Issaquah Farmer's Market from April to October.

Pickering Barn is available for rental by the community; it accommodates up to 400 people with two banquet rooms, a dressing room, indoor and outdoor event space, and free parking.

The Pickering Barn was originally built by Territorial Governor William Pickering. The restored hay barn and adjoining dairy barn are the only remaining structures of what was a 410-acre farm.

First Stage is a 100-year-old theater standing on Front Street. It is owned by Village Theatre and underwent a renovation to become a fully functioning facility. Not only does the building have the capability of showing movies, it also can become a flat-floor studio or classroom by pushing the rake-configured seatings into the wall, a new feature from the remodeling. To find out more about movies and show times, as well as events taking place inside, call the phone number.
