Blackstone Community Center offers a wide range of programs for youth, children, teens and families. It offers fitness programs, sports activities, summer programs, swimming, performing arts as well as adult education. It also offers after-school programs. The Weston Community Center is home to the Council on Aging and the Recreation Department of Weston. The Council on Aging offers a wide variety of services to seniors, including help with and referrals for fuel assistance programs, health insurance, legal issues, medical issues and housing. The council also offers free transportation to and from medical appointments and free fitness and wellness programs hosted at the Community Center.
The Recreation Department provides activities and services for residents of all ages, with fitness programs for children and adults, children's camps and summer activities and more.
The Salvation Army is a multifaceted organization serving the community in the name of Jesus. This particular branch offers church services on Sundays and other activities throughout the week including an exercise program for seniors, a men's fraternity get-together, a ladies group and a dinner night. AA hosts meetings here as well.
The Ramona Hall Community Center is immediately adjacent to Sycamore Grove Park on North Figueroa Street. It is available for rent for a wide range of functions, including weddings. The hall features an auditorium and a rentable practice room for bands.
