The Village Cafe is an Ardsley area eatery that serves a delicious and affordable breakfast or lunch. It can be found near the corner of Center Street and Saw Mill River Road lodged in between Ardsley Nail and Sunnydale Farms. Popular menu items include bagels, eggs and pancakes for breakfast as well as hot or cold sandwiches and more for lunch. Patrons can eat-in or take their food to go. More than enough parking is located in the front of the building.
Thomas H. Slater Center is an advocate for the prevention, eradication and reduction of social problems. The center offers homework assistance and enrichment activities for youth in middle school. There is summer program for kids, as well as camp. It also features the Jerome Robinson Drum Corp that gives youth the opportunity to participate in drumming and marching in practices and parades. The center is on Fisher Court at Quarropas Street.
For decades, the Glen Cove Senior Center has been the official agency of the City of Glen Cove for planning, developing and coordinating programs and services for older residents in Glen Cove and its surrounding communities.
For senior citizens 60 years of age and over, the Glen Cove Senior Center offers exciting trips, exercise programs and adult education courses as well as food and coffee.
