The University Club of Palo Alto is a family oriented club that provides a wide variety of benefits to its members, including use of the tennis courts, training room and swimming pool. Other events include wine dinners and holiday parties, and private events are also available. The swim lessons offered here year round are also available to non members, and the pool itself is in excellent condition. It's 25 yards long with a diving board and has a nearby wading pool for children 7 and under. Note that group lessons are only offered in the summer;  private lessons are available year-round.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan advocacy group that has worked since 1920 to further goals of citizen policy education and awareness. The group provides explanations of ballot measures and their affect on various citizen groups, including women, before every major election. Eichler Swim & Tennis Club is a members-only nonprofit that brings families together through competitive and leisurely tennis and swimming. Members have access to the swimming pool and tennis courts year round and may also take private lessons from experienced staff members. The Eichler Gator Swim Team is open to members age 5 through 18 with all levels of swimming ability. Membership payments can be processed online.

The Lodge features a fitness center, where members may swim or play handball or racquetball.  A bistro, featuring soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta, wine, beer, is located on the premises.

Recipients of its philanthropic activities have included the Palo Alto Police Foundation, the Palo Alto History Museum and the Support Network for Battered Women. West Valley Flying Club, also known as WVFC, is a nonprofit organization that provides aircraft rental, maintenance and flight instruction services. Established in 1972, it is one of the largest nonprofit flying clubs in the world. The club maintains a fleet of more than 80 airplanes, including multiengine and military planes, tail draggers, primary trainers, and glass panel and aerobatic training aircrafts. West Valley Flying Club has a staff of certified flight instructors that provides flight training and instruction for new and experienced pilots. It offers aircrafts for recreation, as well as for family, personal and business trips. The club s aircrafts are equipped with custom-designed computerized scheduling systems.
