The 18-hole "Huntington" course features  6,357 yards of beautifully landscaped golf with a par 70 and a driving range. The on-site pro, James Smoot, is available for personal coaching. The club also has a professional quality tennis facility. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the country club's gourmet restaurant, which is also available for catered events, weddings, parties and corporate affairs. The American Legion was created in 1919 just after the end of World War 1 by the returning veterans of that war. There are over three million members worldwide and over 14,000 American Legion posts.

The American Legion promotes interests that are important to veterans and men and women in the service to sponsorship of local youth activities. The organization is also involved in the general promotion of patriotism and national security. The American Legion is a not-for-profit organization.

The Elks are a fraternal order with nearly a million members and a 141-year history. There are more than 2,000 lodges in communities all over the country which give millions in scholarships, are an inspiration to youth, are friends to veterans, and more.

The Huntington Lodge was formally initiated on the evening of June 29, 1929 - over 80 years ago. It has a restaurant, bar, and ballroom. The restaurant is open Tuesday and Fridays for Family Dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Open to the public; call 631-271-1565 for reservations). Cash or check only; no credit cards are accepted. The bar is open Tuesday and Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (also open to the public). It is also open on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on meeting nights, for members.
