The Pinellas County School Board consists of seven elected members from the different districts within Pinellas County. The board appoints a superintendent who serves as chief administrative officer of Pinellas County Schools. The board makes decisions on school ethics, codes, district policies, dress codes and other school related matters. Th board offices are on 4th Street SW and 4th Avenue SW.
This post office has an Automated Postal Center in its lobby that is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This self-service kiosk allows customers to buy stamps, ship packages (via multiple options including Express Mail, Priority Mail and first-class), and purchase additional options such as delivery confirmation, insurance, certified mail and return receipts, using a credit or debit card. A complete selection of flat-rate shipping supplies, such as boxes, envelopes and packets, is also stocked in the vestibule. Post Office boxes are also available for rent here, and range in size from 4" x 6" to 12" x 24". Customers can apply for, renew or manage their personal box online. In addition, passport applications are accepted during business hours, by appointment.
