Houston Football Stadium is a stadium located in Houston, Texas on the campus of the University of Houston. Houston Football Stadium currently houses the NCAA team the Houston Cougars. The stadium is scheduled to open on September 21, 2014 with the construction taking just over a year and a half to complete. The cost of construction is around $120 million.
The Houston Cougars are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of red and white. Their mascot is the Shasta. Past players include Donnie Avery, Case Keenum and Philip Steward.
The stadium will hold 40,000 fans. There will be 26 luxury suites and over 750 seats at the club level. Currently, it is on par to become the 81st largest stadium in the NCAA. In terms of parking there will ne on-campus parking and satellite parking lots both containing general and reserved spots.
Season tickets are available to donors. Individual tickets start at about $30 depending on the game. Tickets are available through the team website and ticket exchanges.
