The finance department manages six sub-divisions including the treasury, property management, assessing, town collector, town clerk and finance.

The town treasurer, Sheila Tracy, has her office located on the first floor of Town Hall. She is responsible for all monies that the town receives and dispenses. As treasurer, Tracy maintains the town's funds, is the custodian of the Board of Retirement and other special trust funds, and invests the town's revenue.
