Problems with a child’s eyesight are always a concern. At Children’s Health, the Department of Ophthalmology’s emphasis is on providing top quality care of your child’s eye-related problems. Your child’s needs are met by our highly trained and professional staff, from the simple fitting of glasses through surgery, if needed. The Department provides basic eye exams for those under 6 years of age and with special needs. They can also perform ocular plastic surgery to correct problems of the eyelids, orbit, tear ducts, forehead and mid-face. Neuro-ophthalmogists provide diagnosis and treatment services for eye problems that arise in the brain or nervous system.
