They work with children to senior citizens. The Maple Avenue location is a housing complex for low-income senior citizens associated with Family Services of Westchester. The management company for the building is located in Elmsford, NY and is responsible for the maintenance and occupancy of the complex.
The New Rochelle Irish Benevolent Society was formed by Irish settlers who came to the area fleeing the late-19th-century Irish famine. Established in 1863, Irish immigrants in New Rochelle united together to form the society to benefit the needs of the community.
