Kidsave is a non-profit organization working to move older children out of orphanages and foster care in Columbia, Russia, Sierra Leone and into permanent, loving families. Since 1999, more than 2,700 individual children have found parents and lasting connections with adults because of Kidsave International. Additionally, the Kidsave offers summer vacations in the US with families to kids 5-15 who need parents.

STAR Resource Station is part of STAR Education, a nonprofit organization serving students, families, schools and the community. The resource station is based on Jefferson Boulevard in Culver City and is a collaboration between STAR Education, STAR Gifted and Talented Education department, STAR Prep Academy and the STAR Eco Station. The center provides innovative, educational and inspirational programs for parents, teachers and students throughout the year, including conferences, workshops and special events. Since 1985, Loved Ones Victims Services has been a support group for family and friends dealing with the grief suffered from homicides. Children are provided with specialized case management and grief support. Traumatic stress that occurs after a homicide can lead to many problems that can be addressed through group and private session. LOVS has group sessions and has mental health professionals and peer counselors ready to assist families with the problems associated with their loss. Some of the symptoms of grief are shock, frustration, anger, guilt, regret, denial, panic, fear, depression, isolation and emotional distress. Donations are accepted and welcome.

This branch of the Meals on Wheels program, covering the Culver/Palms area, is located on Overland Avenue. This group is based out of the Grace Lutheran Church and operates from an entrance in the back alley on the second floor. Meals on Wheels offers seniors two meals a day, lunch and dinner, with the dinner being a hot meal. The group charges $6 per day for the meals, which are delivered to client homes.

No Limits Theatre Group for Deaf Children uses theatrical arts and individual therapy to meet the special needs of deaf children. The Sickle Cell Disease Foundation of California (SCDFC) was founded in 1957 in order to educate, screen and counsel those at risk of having sickle cell disease.
